The South African Guide-Dogs Association for the Blind has consistently been delivering an outstanding service to the visually and physically impaired as well as to children with autism, through the provision of Assistance Dogs and Orientation and Mobility services.
As with any organisation that strives to be the best, a progressive growth agenda is always present! GDA is however, acutely aware that growth cannot become a reality without the continued support of its loyal donors or new supporters that come on board! We therefore ask for your support in our “Buy-a-Brick” Campaign.
We are embarking on a facility-expansion project that will be a new home for our Assistance Dog Trainers and Call-Centre. We require 10 000 bricks to complete our project and we trust that at R10 per brick, we will soon reach our target. We are also combining forces with AAnubis.org to train unemployment youth in artisan skills whilst they construct the new facility – always stronger together.
