Gauteng Provincial Association for People with Disabilities

GPAPD provides a service to job-seekers with a disability, putting them in touch with employers who are committed to employment equity. Very often training and skills development are simply not enough, since misconceptions still exist around the placement of persons with disabilities into mainstream work. The placement project further offers prospective employers practical advice about the accessibility of workplaces, training staff in sensitisation of disability issues, and assistance with workplace equality and career advancement planning.
