REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 and National Diploma/Degree in IT. Microsoft certificates, IT certificate and ITIL certificate are advantageous. 0- 1 year work experience in desktop support. Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite application, mobile devices, local and network printing, 3G services and windows 10. Good communication, customer relationship, intermediate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
DUTIES : Responsible for the Installation & configuration of software and hardware peripherals and ensure patch management. Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot end user’s workstation and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software and other products in order to deliver required desktop service levels. Coaching IT interns. Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages and work orders regarding desktop problems. Log, resolve & close calls on ITSM. Ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in ICT Technical Committee meetings. Monitoring hardware and software on SCCM. Provide monthly reports on software and hardware usage. Report on the quality and adherence to IT policies and procedures. Meet Customer IT requirements and assist in IT awareness campaigns.
