Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Registration with SACSSP. Proof of current registration to be attached to the CV. Applicants should be in possession of valid South African Drivers license. Knowledge and understanding of Legislation pertaining to Social Work, legal and ethical prescripts, Social systems and skills to ensure that one is able to intervene efficiently and effectively where people interact with their environment in order to promote social and mental well being. Ability to work indecently and in multidisciplinary teams. Analytical thinking, independent decision making and problem solving.
Duties :
- To render Social Work services to patients, their families and the community. Conduct home visits, attend multidisciplinary teams and ward rounds to give advice in matters relating to Social issues.Adhere to the Provincial, hospital and departmental protocols, policies and regulations. Proper record keeping and data collection. Participate in professional development, supervision and quality assurance.
