The Public Investment Corporation puts its money where its mouth is when it comes to inclusivity for people living with disabilities.
As Africa’s largest asset manager and a shining light as a state owned entity (SOE), the PIC offers bursaries, learnerships, graduate programmes, vacation work opportunities for learners, and Chartered Accountant programmes.
Although the PIC has many people living with disabilities occupying positions within the company, Risk Analyst at the PIC, Philani Makhado says they participated in the Disability Summit and Career Expo to learn more about integrating people living with disabilities into the workplace in order to understand their needs and to create an environment of mutual respect.
