Disability Career & Expo Summit 2025 - 23rd & 24th October 2025

Championing inclusive employment and taking practical steps toward reducing the disability employment gap

The Disability Connect Summit & Career Expo provide platforms for learners, graduates, and entrepreneurs with
disabilities to connect with potential employers and explore career opportunities. The career fair aims to address the barriers disabled students face in transitioning from education to employment, while promoting  equality, accessibility, and meaningful inclusion in the workplace.

A significant addition to the Expo has been the Summit, where open dialogue becomes a forum for discussing the challenges and successes of workplace readiness, accessibility and opportunities for people living with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Objectives:

– Empower disabled students by providing access to employers that are actively committed to disability inclusion.
– Promote equitable employment outcomes by offering practical support and exposure to real opportunities.
– Educate employers on best practices in inclusive hiring and support for disabled employees.
– Foster connections between university support services, careers teams, and external organisations.
– Showcase role models and success stories of disabled professionals.
