UFH Disability Unit honoured for excellence in student support

The University of Fort Hare (UFH) Disability Unit has been recognised with a prestigious award for its outstanding contribution to inclusive education and student support.

The unit received the accolade at the recent Higher and Further Education Disability Services Association (HEDSA) Conference, celebrating its commitment to empowering students with disabilities through tailored services, advocacy, and accessible learning environments.

The UFH Disability Unit supports hundreds of students across its campuses with services that include:
