Mandeville Disability Swimming (MDS) is home to the largest and strongest squad of disability swimmers in South Africa headed up by Paralympian, Tadhg Slattery. Tadhg competed as part of the South African Paralympic swimming team at six Paralympic games. His first games in 1992 gave him his first Paralympic gold medal in the 100m breaststroke in a world record time.
MDS offers Learn to Swim and Elite Swimming classes for people living with disabilities and offers a full range of options, mainly to previously disadvantaged learners from schools for the physically disabled.
MDS is a registered section 21, Non for profit company and is a Public Benefit Organisation.
