Transvalia is a school for learners who suffer from epilepsy and/or experience serious learning problems. These problems can be the result of ADHD, dyslexia, socialising difficulties associated with autistic spectrum, and other medical conditions that have a negative effect on the child’s academic progress. The school provides for the specific needs of these learners by means of individualised and specialised education, remedial education, occupational therapy, speech therapy, audio assistance, and other support such as that of a medical sister and counsellor.
