As part of the Santam Broker Services team, the Technical Manager provides key underwriting support to Relationship Managers. The role focuses on analysing risks, preparing complex commercial quotes, and driving profitable decisions across all classes of insurance, including property, motor and casualty. The successful candidate will help shape pricing models, evaluate policies and support the regional team in maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients.
Applicants should hold a matric certificate and a Higher Certificate in Insurance or equivalent qualification, be FAIS compliant and have three to five years of experience in commercial underwriting. Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills are essential.
